Open July 16: We tracked down Dyson Racing at Infineon Raceway today and heard that Chris Dyson is using his Toyota Atlanta racing as a learning experience to improve his sports car skills. It is rare to push a sports car 100% all the time, as you do in competitive open wheel cars. Chris will run further Atlantic races this year and hopes to run more in 2005, as far as his schedule will allow. There are no plans to field a Champ Car entry.

July 10: Champ Car courted this IRL team in 2004 when it was unable to raise the funds for a full season. This may have helped sway support from Tony George for an Indy 500 field-filler, but if the team was coming to Champ Car, it would have happened by now.
